Compliance Defects in Public Key Cryptography

چکیده

Public-key cryptography has low infrastructural overhead because public-key users bear a substantial but hidden administrative burden. A public-key security system trusts its users to validate each others' public keys rigorously and to manage their own private keys securely. Both tasks are hard to do well, but publickey security systems lack a centralized infrastructure for enforcing users' discipline. A compliance defect in a cryptosystem is such a rule of operation that is both di cult to follow and unenforceable. This paper presents ve compliance defects that are inherent in public-key cryptography; these defects make publickey cryptography more suitable for server-to-server security than for desktop applications.

EEH: AGGH-like public key cryptosystem over the eisenstein integers using polynomial representations

GGH class of public-key cryptosystems relies on computational problems based on the closest vector problem (CVP) in lattices for their security. The subject of lattice based cryptography is very active and there have recently been new ideas that revolutionized the field. We present EEH, a GGH-Like public key cryptosystem based on the Eisenstein integers Z [ζ3] where ζ3 is a primitive...

Comparison of two Public Key Cryptosystems

Since the time public-key cryptography was introduced by Diffie andHellman in 1976, numerous public-key algorithms have been proposed. Some of thesealgorithms are insecure and the others that seem secure, many are impractical, eitherthey have too large keys or the cipher text they produce is much longer than theplaintext. This paper focuses on efficient implementation and analysis of two mostpo...

An efficient certificateless signcryption scheme in the standard model

Certificateless public key cryptography (CL-PKC) is a useful method in order to solve the problems of traditional public key infrastructure (i.e., large amount of computation, storage and communication costs for managing certificates) and ID-based public key cryptography (i.e., key escrow problem), simultaneously. A signcryption scheme is an important primitive in cryptographic protocols which ...

Make a Secure Connection Using Elliptic Curve Digital Signature

It is generally accepted that data encryption is the key role in current and future technologies. Many Public key cryptography schemes were presented, divided into different classes depending on a specific mathematical problem. Cryptography plays an important task in accomplishing information security. It is used for encrypting or signing data at the source before transmission, and then decrypt...

Self-Certified Public Key Generation for Resource-Constrained Sensor Networks

It is widely acknowledged that security will play a key role in the successful design and deployment of wireless sensor networks (WSN). A prerequisite for achieving security is the ability to dynamically establish a secret key joint to two nodes. Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) has emerged as a suitable public key cryptographic foundation for WSN. This letter describes an efficient ECCbased m...
